Waggon Trail is a heritage footpath, connecting with many other named and unnamed trails. The interconnecting trail systems surrounding Parkside at Stonehaven take you through quiet forests where deer and forest birds can be seen. The beauty and richness of wildlife and plants is evident in this very special place. 

Maple trees and Alder give way to soaring Douglas Fir and Red Cedar in this mixed forest. Beside the paths are giant sword ferns, native berries and wildflowers - each season will bring you new sights and sounds.
